Our overall energetic sense of ourselves (awareness), becomes faulty when influenced by underlying tensions in our muscles, fascia, tendons, and ligaments.  This impedes the overall functioning of our entire organism, including our breath. 

 

The goal of comprehensive bodywork is to improve strength and mobility, prevent future injury, and minimize inflammation/pain by correcting structural dysfunction and faulty movement patterns.  A state of chemical, emotional, physiological, and mental equilibrium follows.  The adjustment to the body promotes harmony within the body by preparing tissues to allow proper distribution of fluids and encourage neural and energy flow.

This approach to Bodywork follows the principles
of Somatic Healing Arts as the practitioner evaluates and treats the body as a whole.

Total Body Balancing uses the natural resources of the
body as a curative means.  The adjustment to the body prepares the tissues to allow proper distribution of fluids and encourages neural and energetic flow, promoting harmony within the body. Each bodywork session is customized to meet your individual needs. 

Neuromuscular Therapy, CranioSacral, Myofascial Release, Muscle Energy Technique, Thai, Sports Performance/Recovery, Natural Movement Training, or any combination of the various modalities are applied. 

Real change requires consistency.  Whether you are
wanting to improve athletic performance, recuperating from injury or surgery, feeling overwhelmed by life and responsibilities, recovering from loss or trauma, experiencing chronic pain, or simply just want to maintain your happy- healthy state with preventive maintenance, there is a path for you.

You may not feel better immediately, but you will HEAL BETTER IMMEDIATELY … True healing is progressive and each session builds on the previous. With regularly scheduled sessions, we obtain a deeper insight into what your body and mind are telling you.  Your story is unique and the most important part of the case.  We will work together to create a personalized strategy to optimize strength and mobility by correcting structural dysfunction and faulty movement patterns, restoring the whole self.
